Eastern North Carolina Chess Club (Ages 5-17) - New Day and Time! In-Person
The Eastern NC Chess Club is hosting sessions here at Braswell Memorial Library.
This event is geared toward community members age 5-17. Those attending the meetings are free to bring their personal chess boards, and there are a limited number available for use to those who attend without one.
New to chess? The Eastern NC Chess Club encourages those attending to learn the basics of the game before attending a session. The ENCCC recommends chesskid.com to assist in getting acquainted with the gameplay, which allows players to compete at against bots at varying difficulties, as well as games against other people. This website will allow players to become familiar with the chess board’s layout, the pieces in play, and the available moves for each.
